In recent years, technology has changed the way that we acquire, store, and listen to music. In the late 90s, the first MP3 players hit the shelves, eventually rendering CDs, tapes, and vinyl records almost obsolete. Of course, these improvements had a direct effect on DJ equipment, techniques, and abilities.
