There's a lot of buzz in the tech industry around flagship devices. After all, that's where all the exciting innovation is happening. But flagships make up only a tiny portion of the global smartphone sales volume. Most of those numbers represent budget and mid-range devices which come with all sorts of dilemmas and trade-offs.
