Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro Flagships Are Coming Soon

Xiaomi had a busy day, as the company announced a slew of new devices on its Mi blog. The two most exciting announcements are the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, which are the company's latest flagships.

These phones are packed with goodies that make them worth a look for anyone who wants high-end specs without breaking the bank.

Sadly, though, the phones aren't coming to the US, so Xiaomi fans in the United States won't be able to get their hands on these really solid phones.

Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro Features and Specs

Both phones are packed with solid specs. Both the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro feature 6.67″ FHD+ LCDs with the all-important 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and motion.

As far as power, both of the phones feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Unfortunately, it;'s not the latest 865 Plus, but it's still a really fast chip. Both phones are available in different configurations for RAM and internal storage.

The camera setup is imposing, though it looks like there are more lenses than the phone actually has. Both models come with three sensors on the back, but the Mi 10T Pro gets a substantial upgrade to a 108MP primary lens. The Mi 10T's camera is no slouch, coming in with a 64MP sensor.

The other two lenses are the same on both devices--- there are 13MP ultra-wide angle shooters and 5MP macro lenses. Both phones feature a 20MP front-facing selfie camera.

The phones feature large 5,000mAh batteries, which should be more than enough to keep them running throughout the day.

Of course, both phones feature support for 5G, so if you live in an area where 5G penetration is solid, you'll be able to connect with the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro.

Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro Price and Availability

The phones are slated to launch in Europe on October 1. They'll be available through just about every major retailer and carrier.

As for the price, the Xiaomi Mi 10T comes in at €499 ($585) in a 6GB + 128GB configuration. For €549 ($644), you can jump to an 8GB + 128GB configuration. The upgraded Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro starts at €599 ($702) for 8GB + 128GB and jumps to €649 ($761) for 8GB + 256GB.

Snapchat Suspends Two Anonymous Messaging Apps Over Cyberbullying Claims

In light of a lawsuit that was filed earlier, two Snapchat apps, Yolo and LMK have been suspended by Snap. The apps allowed users to send anonymous messages on the platform. The Lawsuit Calls for an Immediate Ban of Yolo and LMK According to a LA Times report, the lawsuit was filed on behalf of Kristin Bride, the mother of a teen who committed suicide in 2020. The lawsuit alleges that Bride's son took his own life after being cyberbullied via Yolo and LMK. In addition to this, the lawsuit alleges that Yolo and LMK aren't doing enough to tackle cyberbullying, and have consequently violated consumer protection law as well as their own terms of service and policies. Both apps use Snap Kit, a set of tools that allows developers to directly connect to Snapchat for better integration features. Today the family of a 16-year-old Oregon boy who took his own life after being cyberbullied sued Snap and the makers of apps YOLO and LMK, alleging that the companies should be "h
