While taking a break from improving its privacy-oriented Firefox Focus web browser for iOS and Android, the Open Source company Mozilla announced that it is now working on a completely revamped version of Firefox for Android.
Powered by the GeckoView engine, which also powers Firefox Focus, Firefox Reality, and other Android apps, the new Firefox for Android mobile web browser aims to be twice as fast than previous versions. Additionally, GeckoView makes it easier for Mozilla to bring new features to its upcoming major Firefox for Android web browser release.
