One of the most important software improvements that Samsung announced at the Galaxy S10 launch on February 20 is an option to remap the Bixby key.
As you probably know already if you’re a Samsung flagship user, the company’s latest Galaxy S and Note models come with a dedicated button just for launching the digital assistant called Bixby.
Until now, remapping this button has been quite a challenge. While third-party apps capable of doing this have been around for a while, most relied on accessibility services for this purpose, and many users just wanted to avoid relying them because they weren’t official workarounds.
The bigger problem, however, wasn’t necessarily that people didn’t want to use Bixby, but the fact that many accidentally launched the digital assistant because of this key.
